Fostering Joyful Faculty-Student Interaction: Ming-Yang High School Hosts 2026 Civic Education BBQ Event

On Friday, March 27, 2026, Ming-Yang High School organized a school-wide Civic Education "Barbecue Activity." Embracing the joyful atmosphere of a BBQ, the event aimed to strengthen interaction and deepen the bonds of friendship between faculty and students.

Principal Tu Zhi-Hong hosted the opening ceremony at the covered sports court at 8:30 AM. In his opening remarks, Principal Tu noted that in addition to the ingredients provided by the school, a generous donation of social resources provided 32 roast chickens for everyone to share. He expressed confidence that the abundant food would allow students to thoroughly enjoy the grilling experience. Furthermore, he reminded all classes to ensure that their charcoal fires were completely extinguished after the barbecue to safeguard campus safety.

Following the opening ceremony, each class gathered their ingredients and was guided by their homeroom teachers to the designated barbecue areas, allowing every student to fully enjoy the fun of charcoal grilling. This year's event featured piping-hot roast chickens—a delightful addition compared to previous years. Students exclaimed that it had been a long time since they tasted such delicious chicken, and they eagerly expressed their gratitude to the principal for his care and thoughtfulness.

Stepping away from the formal atmosphere of regular classrooms, teachers visited different classes one by one to engage in warm and friendly interactions with the students. The sound of cheerful conversations and laughter resonated in every corner of the campus. (Office of Student Affairs)
