Dear Family Members,

In response to the Correctional Agency's initiative, “Love in the Cloud - Electronic Family Contact Book,” an electronic platform for family communication is now available. This platform allows family members to regularly share care and greetings with students and update them on family matters. The goal is to reduce the sense of isolation caused by students' absence from their families, fostering greater emotional connection and participation between students and their loved ones. With love, we aim to welcome students back home.

Eligibility for Application

The application is open to:

  • Spouses, direct blood relatives, or collateral relatives within the third degree of kinship (such as siblings, uncles, aunts, etc.).
  • Co-residing family members (those listed in the same household registry or with proof of cohabitation).

Exclusions: The following individuals are not eligible:

  • Those prohibited from visits, communication, or receiving items under Article 105 of the Code of Criminal Procedure or Article 19 of the Juvenile Protection Event Adjudication Rules.
  • Students under disciplinary punishment, isolation investigation, isolation protection, placement in protective rooms, or quarantine due to illness.

Implementation Timeline

  • Full implementation: Effective from November 1, 2021.

Content Family Members Can Upload

  • Service Application: Each student (household) is limited to one “Electronic Family Contact Book” service application. Family members must apply online, selecting the desired service and submitting required documents.
  • Publishing Contact Book Entries: Once approved, family members can publish updates to the electronic contact book. The uploaded content and photos must relate to expressing care and support for the student.

Usage Rules:

  • Family members can publish updates once every two days, with a text limit of 150 characters per post and one image per post (image quality should not exceed 10MB).
  • If family members fail to follow the guidelines, the submission will be returned. Accumulating three rejections may result in the suspension of the service for one month.
