1. Mobile Visitation Instructions:

To enhance the convenience of family visitations for students, the Agency of Corrections under the Ministry of Justice has developed a mobile visitation system using audio-visual wireless transmission technology. This system allows family members to communicate with students via video and audio using their personal mobile devices, eliminating the need for long travel and reducing the time and transportation costs associated with visiting correctional facilities in person. This service aims to strengthen familial connections for students.

This service requires the use of the "Agency of Corrections Mobile Visitation 3.0" app, which is available for download on both Android and iOS devices. Any data charges incurred during the connection must be borne by the requester. For optimal connection quality, please use the service in a quiet location with a stable internet connection.

2. Eligibility and Requirements:

Reservations for using communication equipment for visitation are handled in accordance with Article 7 of the Regulations for Using Communication Equipment for Visitation in Prisons and Detention Centers (hereinafter referred to as "the Regulations").

3. Application Procedure:

Applicants must register on the "Agency of Corrections Public Service Portal." After completing registration, activation, and application, and upon approval by the institution, the system will send a notification (via SMS or email) by 4:00 PM one day prior to the scheduled visitation. At the designated time, applicants must access the link provided in the SMS and, before the visitation begins, present their identification to the staff for verification.

Note: The school cannot assist with backend registration or application submission. Please refer to the attached documents and the website for detailed instructions on registration and application.

4. Application Acceptance Period:

As stated in Article 9 of the Regulations and Article 5 of the Implementation Guidelines for Reserving Visitation via Communication Equipment at Corrections Agencies under the Ministry of Justice:

1. Applications for using communication equipment for visitation must be submitted within the specified period stated in Paragraph 1 of Article 9 of the Regulations. Applications are accepted by the school until 3:00 PM on the last day of the specified period.

2. If the last day of the specified period falls on a national holiday or another day off, the deadline will be moved to the previous working day. Applicants can check the review status or results of their reservation applications on the website. For reservations made via other methods, results can be inquired via phone.

5. Visitation Duration:

According to Article 11 of the Regulations, each visitation session using communication equipment is limited to 30 minutes. However, the institution may adjust the duration as necessary.

6. Visitation Time Slots:

On working days listed in the "Official Work Calendar for Government Agencies" published by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan, visitations are available in the following time slots:

• Morning: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
• Afternoon: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Each session lasts 30 minutes, with a total of 10 sessions per day.

7. Visitation Frequency Limits:

According to Article 10 of the Regulations:

1. Students are allowed to use communication equipment for visitation twice per month. However, the institution may adjust this limit depending on the facilities, equipment, or other circumstances. (Note: This includes remote visitation sessions.)

2. Sessions conducted under specific provisions (Article 4, Paragraphs 1 and 4; Article 7, Paragraphs 2 and 3, Items 3–6) of the Regulations are not included in the aforementioned limit.
