2026 Mingyang Cup Hand-Drip Coffee Skill Competition: Budding Talents Shine
On January 20, 2026, the school hosted the "2026 Mingyang Cup Hand-Drip Coffee Skill Competition." The participants were students from the 11th-grade B and D classes currently enrolled in the "Coffee Preparation" course. Under the expert guidance of instructor Cheng Yun-lin, this year-end competition served as a practical assessment of the students' learning outcomes.

The competition strictly followed professional industry standards, divided into two rigorous stages: "Blind Tasting" and "Live Performance." The intense atmosphere led many students to exclaim how nervous they felt, describing the experience as "high-pressure." To ensure professional evaluation, the judging panel consisted of staff members with specialized expertise in coffee. Based on the total scores from both stages, three students were ultimately recognized for their outstanding skills.

At the conclusion of the event, Principal Tu Chih-hung encouraged students to continue exploring and mastering new skills. He noted that the coffee market is flourishing and urged students to take their learning seriously. He expressed his hope that they would apply the skills acquired at Mingyang to the professional coffee industry after graduation. By continuing to refine their craft, he believes they will all have the chance to "shine brightly" in their future careers.
