On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Mingyang High School held a school-wide civic education "Barbecue Event." The aim was to foster interaction between teachers and students and strengthen their relationships through the joyful atmosphere of barbecuing.

Principal Tu Chih-Hung kicked off the event at 8:30 AM at the covered basketball court. In his opening remarks, Principal Tu stated that if meat is barbecued too much, it can produce carcinogens and harm one's health, while undercooked meat can cause an upset stomach. Only when it's cooked just right can one truly enjoy the delicious flavor. He emphasized that students should approach everything they do in life like barbecuing – avoiding doing too much or too little – to achieve the desired results.

After the opening ceremony, each class collected their ingredients and, led by their teachers, proceeded to the barbecue area to enjoy grilling. Unlike the formal atmosphere of classroom lessons, teachers visited each class, interacting warmly with students. The air was filled with cheerful conversations and laughter echoing throughout the campus.
