Our school and the Kaohsiung District Chapter of the Christian Rehabilitation Fellowship will jointly organize the "Life Sharing and Christian Baptism Ceremony of the 16th Xu Qing Award Winner Mr. Zhang Yingzhe and Christian Baptism" on December 14, 2018 (Friday) from 10:00 am to 12:00 am. A total of 162 teachers and students from our school participated in the event, and students also participated in the baptism event. Mr. Zhang Yingzhe was once a prison inmate. When he was executed in the prison, he watched his self-righteous friends leave one by one. The smiles of the past were replaced by the ferociousness of the devil. However, the Bible verses firmly comforted me. In the midst of the loss and loss that no one understands, In loneliness, I feel that my pain is understood. I testify that in the process of going through the ups and downs of life, I feel that God is real and alive. I share my life journey with teachers and students of this school and encourage everyone to accept the gospel. Our school’s resident Christian Pastor Cai Suping also explained that baptism is a sign of “the end of the old life” and “the beginning of the new life.” Jesus did not commit any sin and does not need to be baptized in essence; baptism is something that does not originally belong to God. When people abandon their idols and sins and return to the living God, Jesus belongs to God and comes from God, and does not need to be baptized in terms of identity. What John preached was the baptism of repentance. The effect of baptism is that people come before God to confess their sins, repent and accept God’s forgiveness. I hope that Christianity, in addition to influencing people’s lives, has profound connotation and transcendent significance.
