The school and the Bridgehead Branch of the Legal Aid Foundation jointly handle legal education and legal consultation

Publicity course lecture, theme: food safety and consumer rights protection publicity, by Chen Junjia, a lawyer hired by the Qiaotou Branch of the Legal Aid Foundation, to give the lecture, on November 15 (Tuesday) this (111) from 14:55 to 16:00 40 minutes will be held in the auditorium of the school. A total of 129 people, including 83 faculty members and 46 students, participated in the lecture course today.

Objectives and achievements of the course: To enhance the legal education concept of the inpatient students and faculty members on food safety and consumer rights protection, strengthen the legal literacy of the inpatient students, understand the concept of food safety and consumer rights protection through the legal practical point of view, and expect the intern students to build food safety and the concept of consumer rights protection.

Lawyer Chen Junjia gave a lecture. First, he introduced the establishment purpose of the Legal Aid Foundation, the legal assistance projects and the establishment location. Students can learn about the legal assistance projects through relevant information. If individuals or family members need legal assistance, they can contact each branch to apply. Relevant regulations will be negotiated and lawyers will be sent to assist and provide legal assistance and publicity.

Lawyer Chen Junjia gave a lecture on food safety and consumer rights protection from the legal point of view and legal practice, introducing and explaining the course content and teaching topics:

1. Common food safety issues. 2. Classification of food safety incidents and violations: adding non-approved chemical substances, use that does not meet specifications, use in the wrong food category, use exceeding limit standards. 3. How to stay away from the manufacturer's illegal appearance and food additives and use it with peace of mind. 4. Explain what food additives are. 5. my country's food safety management and inspection by competent authorities. 6. Measures taken by the competent authority. 7. Criminal and civil liability. 8. Whistleblower Clause. 9. Case description: 100-year plasticizer incident, 103-year low-quality oil incident, etc. The course was wonderful and lively, and the participating teachers and students gave enthusiastic feedback and questions. The course ended successfully in the interaction between faculty members, students and lecturers. I look forward to the next wonderful and rich course to be held again (Department of Academic Affairs).
